Just for the record: building Subsurface under OS X Mojave works.
As expected, interface is quite unusable in dark mode, due to Qt (lack of) dark mode management, but I guess it’s quite normal at this time. In « normal » mode, result are quite nicer (only a few glitches, mainly in the informations and statistics panes where the separation lines are invisibles): in fact, same result as with the latest released builds.
However, one thing to note at this time: installing (or updating) the command line tools (and Xcode) was not enough: terminal tells command line tools are installed, but the subsurface script states the opposite. Solution to run the script was to install /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/Packages/macOS_SDK_headers_for_macOS_10.14. pkg
